Passeggiata

Passeggiata is an aperitivo styled spirit. As the name suggests, it is intended to be consumed before dinner. A typical mix would be with sparkling water and ice, enjoyed in a cocktail or made into a spritz.

Passeggiata from Giornata starts with brandy that is infused with a variety of botanicals for ten days. After the infusion period, the brandy is strained and combined with orange wine, simple syrup, water and beet juice. Like many apertivi, Passeggiata is crafted using a simple formula of three main families of ingredients: citrus peel, bitter roots, and dried herbs.
